Our Story
SOS Pet Rescue was founded in 2023 by two lifelong best friends bound by a deep, shared compassion for animals—especially those overlooked by the world. From the beginning, they’ve seen past dirt, wounds, and fear, recognizing the resilience and love still burning in the eyes of every stray cat and dog.
With over 35 years of combined experience in veterinary care and animal rescue, they knew it was time to create something bigger than themselves—a sanctuary and movement where no animal would be forgotten. Their mission wasn’t just to rescue, but to heal, advocate, and rebuild trust in creatures who’ve been discarded, abused, or simply ignored.
What began as a grassroots dream has become a growing force for good—one that focuses not only on adoption but on medical care, community education, and long-term solutions like TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). At its heart, SOS Pet Rescue is about connection: between animals and people, between compassion and action, and between what’s possible and what’s needed.

Our community urgently needs affordable, accessible veterinary care. We’re working toward opening a nonprofit clinic that offers wellness visits, sick care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services—because every pet deserves quality care, regardless of their owner’s income.
🐱 A Robust TNR Program
Trap-Neuter-Return is the backbone of effective cat rescue. We’re committed to expanding our TNR efforts to reduce overpopulation, prevent suffering, and help our community manage its stray and feral cat populations humanely and sustainably.
